Our Mission

Amplifying the lives of children by maximizing the ability to communicate in the world; using evidence-based, individually tailored therapy.

Our Practice

Every child deserves a voice regardless of communication modality. We serve patients with an array of speech, language, listening needs. Amplified Abilities was founded to enhance the communication skills of children. Due to the time sensitivity of the critical language window, we feel early intervention is of the utmost importance. We provide individual evaluations using most current standardized and normed references tests. Test results and family input are used to create an individualized treatment plan for therapy. While we are eager to serve children with a variety of communication disorders, we specialize in serving children with diagnosed or suspected hearing loss. Services are provided according to the family’s chosen communication modality. For children maximizing hearing through amplification that would like to develop listening and spoken language skills, Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) services are available with the area’s only Listening and Spoken Language Specialist (LSLS Certified Auditory Verbal Therapist). Communication begins at birth, so it is never to early to get started!
